Annual physical exams

An annual physical exam assesses your general health. During an exam, Dr. Saylor examines your skin; checks your heart and respiratory rate; tests your reflexes; palpates your organs; and examines your ears, eyes, nose, and throat. 

Electrocardiogram (EKG)

If Dr. Saylor determines you’re at risk of heart disease, he might order an EKG. An EKG uses a series of electrodes to monitor the electrical activity of your heart. It can help identify the cause of chest pain or diagnose an irregular heartbeat.

Stress test

A stress test assesses your heart’s function during physical activity, like exercise. Dr. Saylor uses stress tests to evaluate how blood and oxygen flow to your heart. 

Lab testing

Lab testing analyzes samples of your bodily fluids, like blood, urine, or saliva, to diagnose underlying medical issues like high cholesterol, vitamin deficiencies, or a hormonal imbalance. Dr. Saylor has an in-house lab that allows for quick turnaround times. 

Sick visits

A sick visit is a checkup that diagnoses an acute or chronic illness. If you or a loved one develop a high fever and it doesn’t respond to at-home treatments, schedule a sick visit with Dr. Saylor right away.

Diagnostic imaging

Diagnostic imaging uses cutting-edge technologies to capture photos of your bones, joints, internal organs, and soft tissues. Dr. Saylor offers several types of diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, DEXA bone scans, and ultrasounds. 

Joint injections

If you have osteoarthritis or another type of arthritis, you might benefit from joint injections. Joint injections relieve inflammation and restore your joint’s full range of motion. 

Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals

If you operate a commercial vehicle for a living, like a semi-truck or a city bus, you’re required by law to undergo a DOT physical every two years. If you have a chronic health problem like obstructive sleep apnea or high blood pressure, more frequent exams might be necessary.

Skin lesion removal

If you have a mole, scar, or another skin lesion that makes you feel self-conscious, let Dr. Saylor know. He can determine if it's cancerous or not and use special tools to remove it.
